crunchy: celery
red: v8
yellow: pepper
protein: shrimp
punch: vodka
funk: sirracha (however that shit is spelled)
portability: ms. mouk

the little yellow peppers
NO SHRIMP
jalapeno/red pepper spread
and V8 Vegetable juice tastes yummy with the vodka as well.

Unsu...
Oh and if you REALLY want to get particular, only two types of tomato juice will work, either V8 (and not that low sodium crap, but the extra anti-oxident one makes you feel extra healthy, well as healthy as you can be when you're CO) or Clamato.
Also, if you want to get fancy, you can salt the rim w/ celery salt. And pickled string beans are good. Someone else mentioned adding in those coctail onions which sounded pretty good haven't tried it yet. Basically, any pickled veggie goes well in a bloma.
And don't listen to maria, regarding the Shrimp. I recomend prawns on a scewer w/ a little cherry tomato nestled in the curve, then you can hang nicely on the side of the glass. Or a big crab leg - YUM!!!

old bay! fresh garlic and ginger...
oh baby, the bloody mary revolution must continue:) -
-
ooh, love the fresh ginger idea.
and you mean to say pepperoncinis, maria
what about a slice of mango? I think it could work.... -
-
Unsu...
NO NO NO!!! you MUST keep your sweets away from your salty in this matter.
I once went w/ Filthy to a bar that served their blomas w/ sour mix in them, let me just tell you they weren't right. You remember Filthy, that's when your penis fell into the fish in the park. -

u no what's funny?
i was telling a friend at Earth Dance the other day...that i can tell alot about a person according to how they concoct Bloody Mary's!! (my first BM themecamp was Slutty Mary's/the Hottest Bloody Mary's in the Universe!!)
i told him that it can mean "instant friends" or a "precarious arrangement" depending on how ingenious or NOT they are.
personally, i prefer celery salt, horse radish and old bay seasoning as well as seasoned salt. a prawn is a nice finish.
cheers!! -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.

even worse.
yucky yucky yuck.
I shucked clams for a living one summer. I never need to eat one.
or drink one, for that matter.

i agree
no to cheap vodka
and no to clamanything -
-
ok, so clams are a no no.
they're only "in" because of the whole "clamato" thing, which reagan has thoroughly debunked.
however...when thinking of drinkable bivalves, there is one that quickly comes to mind:
oysters anybody?
supposedly good for the libido, right? and shouldn't every bloody mouth crave some libidinous action?
